Pink Orchid and Damask Birthday Cake

This tiered buttercream cake has a square bottom and round top. To achieve the damask look on the bottom tier, first we cut fondant stripes and let them set up. Then we stenciled a magenta damask pattern with royal icing. The top tier is wrapped with a bow and has a gold swiss dot pattern. Star gazer lillies top the cake.
